downtown, manhattan, staten island, staten island ferry, World Trade Center This picture was taken from the Staten Island Ferry Pier by my friend and colleague Frank Goedecke in 1997 when he ran the New York Marathon. It was shot on slide film. I took my old and technically underdeveloped scanner to digitalize it and preserve it nostalgic mood. In addition to it, I've increased the vignette and changed the colors in LAB mode.
