Let's leave New York for a little while and go back to Germany's capitol. This shot was taken on the most beautiful - as some say - place in Berlin: The Gendarmenmarkt. The columns you see belong to the Konzerthaus which is placed centrally on the square ( you'll see the rest of the building in the next post). In the lower left corner you can see the French Cathedral (in German: Französischer Dom) which has a counterpart at the other end of the square: the German Cathedral (in German: Deutscher Dom).
