central park, cityscape, the lake Manhattan Midtown as seen from The Lake, Central Park.Yesterday's portrait was kind of an exception on this blog; I do not take portraits that often because my job as a manual therapist involves getting very close to others on a physical and emotional level. In my spare time, however, I need distance and can not stand connecting somehow intimately with a subject again like you have to for shooting someone's portrait. I prefer to take one step back and just be an observer of a scene without getting involved with it. I simply need that to recharge my batteries - so today it's business back to normal with a cheesy cityscape.
